“Rises above simple vintage worship and does more than just glorify the past – it helps us experience it.”
The Village Voice
A raucous, irreverent rock & roll comedy in which we follow fictional indie rock band “The Fingers” as they stumble their way in the opposite direction of success—commercial or otherwise. Or so they think. As it happens, it’s 1986 and the mainstream is eager to embrace the D.I.Y. sounds of the underground, whether the bands like it or not….
Watch the trailer for Losers Take All:
Featuring original rock songs by THE FINGERS as well as the music of HUSKER DU, DINOSAUR JR, BLACK FLAG, MINUTEMEN, THE DESCENDENTS, GUIDED BY VOICES, MINOR THREAT, BAD BRAINS, MEAT PUPPETS, THE WIPERS, ALEX CHILTON, REDD KROSS, MISSION OF BURMA, SQUIRREL BAIT, ZERO BOYS, LYRES, THREE COLORS, BIG DIPPER and DAVID PORTER.
“MOVING, FUNNY, STARTLINGLY ORIGINAL.
One of the year’s first great surprises and
clearly one of its best films....”

"Propelled by a smashing perf from Gina Gershon,
"Prey for Rock and Roll" emerges as an engaging,
upbeat saga of an all-girl band on its way to nowhere
